"This partnership will bring joy. Every child, young person, and elder who enters the Sumaré Residents' Association will be able to come and drink quality water."
In 2024, Água Camelo, in partnership with Boulevard Shopping BH (ALLOS) and CUFA Minas, launched the Água do Bem initiative, directly impacting over 5,000 people in the Sumaré community, in Belo Horizonte. The action, which began in March, was designed to provide access to quality drinking water for residents of the region, promoting health and well-being. During the months of March and April, we installed a freezer at Boulevard Shopping, where customers could purchase water bottles and pay via PIX. With the sale of over 1,200 bottles, we raised the necessary funds to install the Camelo Water Filtration and Distribution Center, which was completed in June. This innovative technology filters 99.9% of bacteria, protozoa, and viruses, ensuring clean and safe water for the entire community. The project is already delivering significant results, reducing gastrointestinal issues and improving the educational and professional performance of Sumaré residents. We are grateful to all the partners and supporters who made this transformation possible, strengthening our commitment to dignity and access to clean water for everyone.
